A beautiful and authentic example of traditional Timorese ikat weaving, this textile was likely created in the Belu or Malaka region of East or West Timor. Woven on a backstrap loom, it features subtle geometric banding and soft, earthy natural dyes — hallmarks of early- to mid-20th-century domestic textiles from this region.
